Committed to Healthy Hearts and Lungs
"Heart disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide, while lung cancer is the deadliest form of cancer. I chose cardiothoracic surgery because it allows me to care for patients facing both of these serious diseases. The specialty demands technical precision, thoughtful decision-making, and teamwork while allowing me to improve both the length and quality of my patients’ lives. The most rewarding part of my job is guiding patients and their families through some of life’s most challenging moments. As their surgeon, I am with them every step of the way, both in and out of the operating room."
