Breast Cancer: Know Your Risk Score
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in U.S. women—and in Northern Michigan, breast cancer rates are higher than the national average.
To enhance early detection, Munson's mammogram screenings now include a personalized lifetime breast cancer risk score, based on personal, medical, and family history. Patients who are identified as high risk will be referred to our new High-Risk Breast Cancer Clinic for ongoing assessment, risk reduction education, and more.

From Chemotherapy to Community: A New Path for Survivors
Oncologist Yelena Kier, DO, has devoted over a decade to caring for cancer patients, including a free pilot program she launched last fall called IGNITE to empower breast cancer survivors after chemotherapy.
