Celebrating Our Comprehensive Stroke Center Renaming

Earlier this month, our comprehensive stroke center was renamed the Witham Family Comprehensive Stroke Center in honor of the Witham family's generous $2.5 million donation. In 2019, Richard Witham recovered from a stroke with the help of our team at Munson Medical Center. Amazed at the level of care he received, Richard, along with his wife Marilyn and their children, wanted to show his support and gratitude for Northern Michigan's first and only comprehensive stroke center in a big way.

The Witham's generous donation will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and advancement of our lifesaving stroke program, and we are incredibly grateful for their commitment to enhancing healthcare in our region.
